Thomas Lee Dent

After World War I ended, Thomas was drawn to Akron, Ohio, by a cousin he had known in Breeden whose family had relocated to Akron.  He and Ella Elizabeth Burchett were married on September 13, 1917.  He severed all family ties and returned to Breeden only twice during the next 40 years.  According to his family, he was employed in the rubber industry and, during the depression, had a barber shop in his home where he cut hair on week-ends.
